GT-1000 10
Description
The 10th anniversary of the GT-1000™ running shoe is a huge step forward in what the model represents. Designed for runners with active lifestyles who are looking for a lightweight, everyday training shoe with excellent cushioning. The upper has been redesigned with a new engineered mesh that adapts to the foot's natural shape while providing comfortable midfoot support. By adding an integrated support system, the application improves heel fit and creates a more secure feel. The shoe takes a more sustainable approach to design, using fewer resources to color the insoles. The shoe features a layer of GEL™ technology cushioning in the heel for increased shock absorption, while integrated FLYTEFOAM™ midsole material provides a softer, more supportive feel underfoot. Finally, the DUOMAX™ Support System consists of a higher-density foam placed on the inside of the midsole to help reduce the foot's apparent inward rolling (overpronation) while improving stability.
Overpronation
-
Foot Type
Low arches or flat feet -
Push Off
Big toe and second toe do majority of the work. -
How your foot contacts the ground
The foot lands on outside of heel, then rolls inward (pronates) excessively, transferring weight to inner edge instead of ball of the foot.
